I woke up to Billie’s soft snores. You know, the kind that make you want to fall back to sleep. Well, that’s exactly how I felt. I flipped over and felt Billie moan and turn to his side, still in a deep sleep. I looked at the alarm clock next to my bed.
Â
“HOLY SHIT!” I screamed and jumped from my bed.
Â
“Billie! Get up! It’s 18 A.M. and we have to be at the airport by noon!” I yelled and ran to my bathroom. 20 minutes later, I was completely ready. I had packed the night before and it doesn’t take me long to take a shower and get dressed in the morning. Billie still laid, sound asleep on my bed. He was laying right in the middle, bundled up in a mess of blankets. He looked so cute, I didn’t want to wake him up but we had to get to the airport.
Â
“Please get up.” I whispered to him.
Â
“5 more minutes.” He moaned and flipped over again.
Â
“No. Get up now.” I said and pushed him off the side of the bed.
Â
I heard him hit the floor with a loud thud. I almost ran over to see if he was okay, but I heard a little laugh and decided he was okay. He jumped up and tackled me to the floor.
Â
“AH HA! I WIN!” He yelled and he straddled me to the floor. I kicked and tried to get free but I just ended up acting like a venerable child.
Â
“So, what do you want now that you’ve won?” I asked with a hint of lust in my voice.
Â
“To get to the airport.” He laughed and walked into my bathroom.
Â
“FINE!!!” I yelled and acted disappointed. I heard the phone ring in the other room and I ran down the hall to get it.
Â
“AHHHHHHHHH!!!” Was all I heard on the other end of the phone.
Â
“What?!” I knew it was my friend Claudia.
Â
“Billie’s gone missing! No one knows where he is! It was on the news!” I heard her scream. I had to pull the phone away from my ear.
Â
“Well, I’m over him anyway.” I choked out and hung up the phone, if I didn’t, I would have told her. I laughed as Billie walked down the hallway and into the garage.
Â
“You coming?” He asked as he opened the door.
Â
“No.” I said in my most serious voice. He turned around at me and looked dumbstruck.
Â
“What? Wait . . . what?” He said as he closed to door.
Â
“I was just kidding.” I laughed and ran to the car.
Â
“SHOTGUN!” I yelled and ran to the passenger’s seat. Billie rolled his eyes and got into the driver’s side.
Â
“Are you ready?” He asked and took my hand.
Â
“Yeah, I can’t wait to get there.”
Â
When we got to the airport, ten or twenty people recognized him right away. I was getting pushed away from him as crazed chicks ran to him for autographs. He smiled and signed some. I kept getting pushed further and further away from him when he suddenly grabbed my hand and we ran to our flight.
Â
“Whooo.” He sighed and pulled me close as we sat in our seats. That was a little weird for you wasn’t it?
Â
“Yeah. It’s not like I get attacked everyday.” I rolled my eyes and hugged him close.
